We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to drive our growth in the European market. As a Business Development Director for Real World Evidence, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business development plan, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive adoption of our Real World Evidence solutions in the European market
Identify and target potential clients within pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and research organizations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for potential clients
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals
Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand brand presence and generate leads
Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
In-depth knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE) and its applications in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry
Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets
Strong network of contacts within the European pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions
Willingness to travel extensively within Europe to meet with clients and attend industry events
