What are the top B2B SEO tools?
We work with Looker Studio to create a holistic report from Search Visibility (clicks and impressions in Search Console) to traffic and conversion (users, sessions, events in GA4) to lead status and generated pipeline, e.g. Salesforce or Hubspot. End to end attribution is hard since organic conversions typically show up mixed with Direct in the CRMs. This is why you want to combine it with detailed conversion tracking from GA4 on the frontend.

What are the top B2B SEO tools?
There are no specific keyword research tools for B2B, however, all tools have slightly different databases and some have better results for B2B than others. Always check Keyword Planner from Google and compare the results from Ahrefs and SEMrush. B2B keywords can be very niche and longtail. Don't get distracted by low search volume or lack of keywords. If the keyword is specific and the intent is high, it will get you in front of the right buyer. Low volume keywords are common in B2B, especially for enterprise sales.

How do you benchmark organic search?
When it comes to understanding SEO data, we look at the following: - Activities that we can own, - progress metrics - and success metrics. Activities that we can own are things like articles published, backlinks build, technical issues fixed. They are the necessary foundation of all SEO success. Progress indicators are leading indicators telling us that our activities are useful. Progress indicators include - growth in indexed keywords, - impressions and - clicks. Success metrics are lagging indicators and are telling us about business impact. This could be SEO-influenced hard conversions (purchases, app downloads, contact us, demo requests) or soft conversions (content downloads, webinar sign-ups).
