    Mr. Upward is the convening entrepreneur for the:

    1. Strongly Sustainable Business Model Innovation Toolkit. The Toolkit will provide a comprehensive view of the key factors necessary to design innovative flourishing business models that are simultaneously financially viable, socially beneficial, and environmentally regenerative. This comprehensive view enables the conception of business models that more resiliently: generate profit, innovate, sense and take advantage of opportunity…

    Mr. Upward is the convening entrepreneur for the:

    1. Strongly Sustainable Business Model Innovation Toolkit. The Toolkit will provide a comprehensive view of the key factors necessary to design innovative flourishing business models that are simultaneously financially viable, socially beneficial, and environmentally regenerative. This comprehensive view enables the conception of business models that more resiliently: generate profit, innovate, sense and take advantage of opportunity, at lower risk levels than business models focused only on monetary profit. This will be of value to any organization wanting to accelerate the innovation, funding, launching and / or growing of flourishing businesses and for-impact enterprises and non-profits.

    The Toolkit will include an integrated collaborative visual design tool (the Strongly Sustainable Business Model Canvas), design principles and methods for designing better business models, along with patterns and case studies.

    2. Co-operative business, to be co-foundered with the other team members, with a mission to improve the business models of small and medium enterprises of all types world-wide via the widespread use of the Toolkit and related products and services,

    This initiative is one of a number of knowledge mobilization projects of the OCADU Strategic Innovation Lab’s (sLab) Strongly Sustainable Business Model Group (SSBMG, www.SSBMG.com). Hosted by the sLab, the SSBMG is rapidly growing action research collaboration initiative. Currently the SSBMG has 230+ practitioners and researchers globally, with a shared vision and mission aligned with that of the proposed co-op.
