Dear UNU Community, after long and uncertain weeks, we finally have some good news for you! The experienced electric scooter manufacturer Emco Scooter (www.emco-e-scooter.com) will officially take over the assets, sales and service of UNU. We are very happy to be able to give UNU a promising new start and ensure the continuation of our brand and our e-scooters. The focus at Emco is to provide a strong service to our 10,000+ existing customers to maintain the high quality and design of our e-scooters. We want to make sure that the continuity of the brand and its products is guaranteed after the acquisition. Therefore, we are currently working hard to ensure an orderly acquisition. The resumption of our operations and customer service is our top priority. We know this process has taken a long time for some and has caused some inconvenience for many customers and partners. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to once again thank our many customers, partners and employees who have been part of UNU's 10 year journey and look forward to opening the next chapter together with Emco. Dear UNU community, Due to the currently challenging market conditions, we filed for insolvency to reposition our business. While we had to shut down our shop temporarily, we plan to be online again in the course of the upcoming week. This decision was taken after careful consideration with the aim to reposition our business. Our top priority now is to look forward and define a new future for UNU, as we are convinced that UNU is still a great and viable company. We are working closely with the insolvency administrator and are confident we can provide further information shortly. We understand that this raises many questions and concerns, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause. EICMA 2023: A global hub for two-wheeled innovation! We went to the 80th edition of the international two-wheeler exhibition. Our EICMA review: ✔️ We noticed a big increase in the number of Chinese manufacturers, with many new brands coming to europe.  ✔️ Electric mobility is key: Vespa announced their two classic models Primavera and Sprint will be available with an electric motor in the future.  ✔️ Big motor bike brands like Honda and Yamaha are entering the market of scooters with 50cc. EICMA in numbers: This global event attracted 563,848 visitors, a significant increase of 19% over last year. With 2036 brands and 700 exhibitors from 45 countries. Beyond the exhibition EICMA 2023 wasn't just a showcase; it was a journey through the history & future of two-wheeled mobility. The best companies in the 102 categories were decided by 80,000 customer opinions.
