The round was led by Next Coast Ventures, with participation of TA Ventures, Asset Management Ventures and Antler Elevate. Endless Health is developing the first fully at-home clinical trial services, including self-home collection kits and central lab services to track crucial blood markers for longevity with high precision and at affordable price. The company raised funds to scale up white-label testing services to millions of people, and will conclude their first clinical trials later this summer. Our portfolio company Gameto secures $33M in series B funding to advance novel in vitro fertilization treatments. The fresh capital will primarily support the clinical development of Fertilo, an investigational in vitro maturation (IVM) solution that utilizes engineered ovarian support cells (OSCs) to mature eggs outside the body. This innovative approach aims to replace traditional hormonal injections, reducing the in vitro fertilization (IVF) and egg-freezing process from 10-14 days to just 2-3 days. Our portfolio company Kabata raises $5M for AI-powered dumbbells! Next-gen strength training is gaining steam with investors as artificial intelligence is making dumbbells (and fitness in general) smart. Kabata, an immersive workout platform, has raised $5 million in a seed round to further develop its AI-powered dumbbells, which adapt to users’ progress. The all-in-one smart dumbbells are adjustable from 5 to 60 lbs. They can count reps, analyze form and use AI-powered coaching to adjust the weights as needed. Great news! Our portfolio company, AI language translation startup DeepL, nabs $300M on a $2B valuation to focus on B2B growth! More funding is being poured into startups focused on AI. This round underscores the frenetic interest that investors have in AI startups at the moment.
