On Friday, June 28, the annual soccer match between our "white-collar" and "blue-collar" employees took place at our site in Worms. ⚽ In bright sunshine and summery temperatures, a total of 26 employees competed against each other. The team of the white-collar won the game with a final score of 5:2. After the sporting challenge, we moved on to the relaxed part. There was a barbecue for everyone present and the opportunity to socialize. 🤗 A big thank you to all participants and organizers. 💸 The price usually plays an important, perhaps even the most important role when buying a new vehicle. Here is a clear opinion on our last question: “Would you be prepared to pay a higher price for an environmentally friendly car, even if the purchase costs are higher?” and that is rather no. However, a few people would be willing to spend more money and some are not sure yet. 🚘 After we got a little more comfortable with the topic because of the general and price questions, let's dive a bit deeper. #sustainability #automotive #mobility

On June 19 and 20, the PIAE - International Congress on Plastics in Automotive Engineering, known as the most important leading congress for plastics in cars, took place in Mannheim, Germany. On June 20, Dr.-Ing. Felix Behnisch and Michael Wilhelm from the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT spoke on the topic “Cost-effective and recyclable: Functionalized aPA6 profiles in injection molding". Last week, we started with our survey on the topic of sustainability. The first question we asked was: "Do you consider the environmental impact a significant factor when choosing a car?". The result is actually very balanced. 48% of respondents answered the question with "yes", while 52% do not consider the environmental impact when choosing a car. The first question dealt with a general decision, so in the second question we now move on to the price aspect. #sustainability #automotive #mobility

🚀 Review of the Innovation Day 2024! Last week we had the great opportunity to host our Innovation Day 2024 at our Worms plant - and it was a success! Our event was focused on coming together and presenting our products and innovations to all our employees. There were several guided tours with exciting insights into our production halls. Furthermore, our employees were allowed to use the fire extinguisher and put out a fire as an exercise. Of course, with the good weather, the barbecue was a must and everyone enjoyed a great atmosphere. 🎉 Our People & Culture team was also present and covered the topic of diversity. To highlight the advantages of diverse teams the various personality dimensions such as age, nationality and gender were discussed. Prizes could be won by taking part in a quiz and ideas were collected as part of the lively exchange on what diversity means for our employees. It was inspiring to see how much interest and enthusiasm we generated. A big thank you to everyone who made this day so special! 💙 #Innovation #Technology #Employees #Diversity
