Meet Maria Fernanda Guzman, Junior Controller at re:cap! 👋 Hello, I’m Maria! As part of the finance team, I ensure smooth operations by overseeing and controlling various processes. I assist in monitoring our portfolio’s performance and contribute to the management and expansion of our reporting framework. Additionally, I handle treasury management, securing sufficient funds to finance our customers and closely monitoring their payments. 👩💻 Fun Fact I started an Instagram account selling make-up, without any knowledge about it. Through a lot of trial and error, I managed to grow the account to 10k followers organically and collaborated with micro-influencers. Later, I pivoted to selling accessories and supported my family’s small business during the pandemic. Although I’m no longer managing the account, I have a strong interest in e-commerce and social media selling. 💻 WFH must have A fast internet connection, an extra monitor, and a bright window spot to enjoy the sunlight whenever possible (but it's a rare treat in Germany, especially in Hamburg). ❓ Why re:cap?  I’m super happy to be part of a team that fosters a collaborative environment where I receive close mentorship from colleagues while taking ownership of my projects.
