Chef Tony boasts an impressive 23-year career with our company, bringing a wealth of international culinary experience to the table (or should we say, tray). From Europe to New Zealand and finally landing in North America, Chef Tony has honed his skills in various regions. When Alaska Airlines decided to bring back hot meals, Chef Tony was there every step of the way. He designed menus that not only reflected the airline's commitment to Pacific Northwest flavors but also incorporated California and Baja California influences. Sustainability was also a top priority for Alaska Airlines. Chef Tony and his team worked closely with the airline to ensure the new meals were served in special compostable dishes, perfectly aligning with Alaska Airlines' eco-conscious efforts. From 🇺🇸 from coast to coast and from North to South across the USA, 🇲🇽 Mexico, 🇦🇷 Argentina, 🇨🇱 Chile, 🇧🇷 Brazil, 🇨🇦 Canada, to 🇮🇳 India, we organized human board games and trivia competitions with over 30 units participating. These activities not only brought awareness to food safety but also fostered teamwork and camaraderie among our teams. HKG CSC Takes Flight with the C919! Earlier this month, we weren't just feeding hungry travelers, we were part of a historic moment. China Eastern Airlines Global (MU) took to the skies with the new #Comac #C919, a homegrown game-changer in the narrow-body airliner scene. And guess who was right there, ensuring the journey was well-catered? You guessed it, our very own Hong Kong Customer Service Center (CSC) team! This wasn't just any flight; it was a charter carrying over 100 university students on their way to an internship adventure in Shanghai. Talk about starting your career with a bang (literally, on a brand-new plane!) C919: More Than Just a Plane, It's a Leap Forward Developed by COMAC, the C919 is shaking things up. With 8 comfy business class seats and a spacious 156-seat economy class, it's a sign that Chinese aviation is soaring to new heights. And the Hong Kong CSC was right there, fueling this exciting journey with top-notch catering. This was a real privilege, and it shows our recognition of China's growing role in the aviation world. Future Leaders Take Off! Those university students weren't just passengers; they were future industry shapers. Their internship in Shanghai is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn, grow, and maybe even grab a window seat on the next C919 flight.
