Let’s talk about innovation, sustainability and business opportunities! On Saturday I had the pleasure to be part of the IESE Business School Alumni event in Munich. Together with Klaus Roewe, CEO of Lilium, and Luis Arevalo we gave some insights in our view on the future. With the Lilium Jet, our new Lufthansa product innovation „Allegris“ and our Operations Decision Support Suite project (OPSD) in cooperation with Google Cloud, we had a look on concrete examples in front of and behind the scenes. We also touched important questions regarding sustainability, AI and of course the cooperation between Lilium and Lufthansa. We're very proud to have hosted a TSBC event, celebrating the release of its latest book titled “𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐖𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞.” Representatives from businesses, academia, and media attended the event at our headquarters to listen to and discuss options for financing a sustainable economy with five speakers invited by TSBC – including, in addition to Nikolaus von Bomhard, Chairman of Munich Re, our Chairman Tom Enders, and Co-Founder Daniel Wiegand. “This is a plea for competitiveness and prosperity,” declared Stefan Bornheim, Founder and Managing Partner of TSBC GmbH, in his opening statement – a position shared by speakers and guests, followed by a heated debate on how to achieve this. As such, the evening reflected the primary purpose of the book – to open the debate and highlight the complexity of the road to a sustainable economy. Lilium is honored to become a member of the SESAR 3JU and would like to thank the SESAR team and SESAR 3JU members for supporting our admission to this prestigious forum.  More recently, Lilium has been actively contributing to two major eVTOL-related SESAR projects - OperA and EUREKA -both projects allowing us to develop technical solutions and new procedures for the integration of our aircraft into the airspace.   As Lilium approaches entry into service of its Lilium Jet, SESAR 3JU offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to prepare the markets for the start of eVTOL operations and at the same time provides a forum to continue developing innovative solutions for the advancement of electric regional aviation in Europe and beyond.  #Lilium #eVTOL #SesarJU $LILM SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking
