Exciting new collaboration 🚀   We are thrilled to welcome a group of 78 mentors and mentees to the very first batch of our ESCP Business School Women in Finance x FEMSTORY mentoring program (and by the way, the 12th batch for FEMSTORY overall). Last week’s kick-off sessions set the stage for an inspiring journey ahead: Over the next four months, the 39 matches will meet up in person or virtually, discuss about topics related to careers in finance and take part in our joint sessions.   It’s great to have such a diverse group of individuals joining our community and we cannot wait to see how you will grow within this program. What is Femstory and how does it work? Now that we launched our 14th mentoring batch you may ask yourself what we at Femstory actually do. 🔗 Our Why: Enabling women to make informed and thought out professional decisions. 💡 Our Belief: We believe that mentorship and community are essential for women at different stages of their lives to make the best decisions. Our mission is to connect and empower them to ask questions, get inspiring answers from both male and female mentors, and grow further to write their own success story. ✨ Mentorship Program: We match mentors and mentees in batches based on their personal skills, interests, and profiles. Our mentoring guide leads you through your first 1-1 sessions, ensuring a strong foundation. ⏳ Duration & Commitment: Each mentorship batch runs for at least four months, with the option to extend depending on the mentor and mentee. Holiday wishes from the Femstory team 💚 As we approach the end of another incredible year, we are taking a moment to appreciate the journey we've shared in 2023. 👯♀️ New leadership team This year we were able to expand our leadership team with 11 dedicated women across 4 countries and launch our city ambassador program with our first flagship event in four locations - we loved meeting everyone of you. 🌟 Mentoring highlights With the start of batch #11 our mentoring program has continued to thrive, creating meaningful connections between mentee and mentor. We've seen incredible stories of empowerment and progress, both personally and professionally 💫 🥳 Exciting new projects We've been working on something exciting - so stay tuned for our exciting projects, set to be unveiled beginning of next year. 🤝 Help us to continue We are a voluntary network, and we just started with donations to be able to support other women in the future. Four cities, one FEMSTORY event! 💚 Last week our FEMSTORY community came together in four different locations: Zurich, Berlin, Munich, and Dusseldorf for our first ever FEMSTORY FLAGSHIP event. 🥳 Our community in Berlin hosted a panel discussion on mentoring at the beautiful Accenture Song Office in Prenzlauer Berg, Munich met up at the FINN office, Zurich came together at Vito to eat pizza and Dusseldorf enjoyed drinks at Nooji Dutch Deli. A special thanks goes out to FINN (and especially Florian Edenhofer for being our host) and Storz Schokolade for sponsoring their amazing Chocolate 🍫.
