Info
Founded in 1989, the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) comprises a group of equipment manufacturers, research institutes, academic bodies and companies which manufacture food or equipment for the production of food, pharmaceuticals/healthcare and/or cosmetics. These organisations work collaboratively to improve hygienic engineering and design standards in all aspects of food manufacture and drive the adoption of best practice. EHEDG UK & IE actively supports the food industry by working collaboratively with organisations and academia to improve hygienic engineering and design standards, disseminating knowledge and best practice guidance via the EHEDG Yearbook, EHEDG Technical Guidelines, training session and seminars, and helping to facilitate the inclusion of hygienic design and engineering in further and higher education courses. We are particularly keen to support smaller companies which may lack internal resources or engineering expertise. We also want to work with and learn from organisations as we strive to deliver improvements in industry standards. For more information and a full list of contacts for EHEDG UK&IE, visit our website.

🌟 Join us in welcoming Debra Smith, an esteemed expert from Vikan A/S, to the EHEDG World Congress 2024 in Nantes! 🎉 With a profound understanding of Holistic Hygienic Design within food production facilities, Debra Smith brings invaluable insights to our event. 'Over the years, we’ve realised that there are other sources of contamination within the environment in which we produce food. Anything really that's within that factory environment can spread the contamination to either a food contact surface or directly to the product'. 👤 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡'𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: https://lnkd.in/e4RFCcEb 📅 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 on the 2 & 3 of October in Nantes, France!
