We often say, "He's got to score!" when a seemingly "100 percent" chance is wasted. But how do we truly measure the quality of these chances? Enter the Expected Goals (xG) model. Unlike traditional shot statistics, xG provides a more nuanced view of a goal-scoring opportunity's value. That’s why we all came together in Ahrweiler, a gem in Germany’s wine region, for an unforgettable day: 🏅 We started with a team challenge, the Wine Olympics, testing our skills and knowledge of the local wines. 🍇 Then, we ventured into the vineyards and olive grove. 🍖 We wrapped up with a delicious barbecue. Did you know? Winemaking in this area has a 2,000-year-long history, and today some 45 vineyards produce some of Germany’s best Pinot Noirs! Presenting our #SocialDay 2024! 🌟 For the third consecutive year, alongside with our colleagues from Sportcast GmbH, we donned our work gloves and dedicated our time to volunteering at Bethanien Kinderdörfer gGmbH. 🫂 This year, we rolled up our sleeves to clean pots, plant flowers, weed the gardens, and spruce up the sports field. And, of course, we had a blast playing football with the kids! 🌼⚽️ None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our employees and the outstanding collaboration with the Kinderdorf staff, especially Emel Tahta-Lehmann.
