𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔: Deutsche Bank in Sofia 🇧🇬 📸 Exciting discovery! Our Deutsche Bank archive recently received an interesting new addition: a photo album from 1929 showcasing our Sofia branch. Explore rare snapshots of the interior and many employees of the office in the Bulgarian capital. ↩ Throwback: In response to a request from Tsar Ferdinand, Deutsche Bank opened a representative office in Sofia in 1917. Despite closing and relocating to Berlin after the end of the First World War in 1918, the office made a comeback in 1921. After the merger of Deutsche Bank and Disconto-Gesellschaft in October 1929, the Deutsche Bank Sofia branch was merged with Kreditbank Sofia, the Bulgarian subsidiary of Disconto-Gesellschaft. Kreditbank Sofia existed until 1944. ↪ Fast forward: On July 3, 2006, Deutsche Bank returned to Sofia with a representative office. 🕰️ Timeless Treasures is a snapshot of a moment in time, a banking souvenir from bygone days – brought to you by Deutsche Bank’s Historical Institute. #TimelessTreasures #History #DeutscheBank

🇦🇹 We’re celebrating 35 years of Deutsche Bank in Austria! Deutsche Bank established its office in Vienna in 1989 after having taken over the Viennese private bank Antoni, Hacker & Co. ⌛️ 🤝 Back in Germany, a new chapter of history was being written with the fall of the Berlin Wall. The strong economic links between Germany and Austria, together with Vienna’s role as an important gate to the East, were key factors in Deutsche Bank deciding to offer financial services in Austria as well. 🇪🇺 When Austria joined the EU in 1995, Deutsche Bank was able to merge the Austrian subsidiary with the German parent company, thanks to Europe’s freedom of establishment principle, with operations continuing under the name of the Vienna Branch. Since entering the Austrian market, Deutsche Bank’s business in the country has been a story of sustainable success. Over 35 years, Deutsche Bank has become an integral part of the Austrian banking community. 🏦 From their offices in the heart of the country’s capital, colleagues support clients across the whole of Austria in all areas of corporate banking, investment banking and wealth management. 🌐 #DeutscheBank #Anniversary #Austria #History

Meet Jens, HR team leader and part-time football reporter. Jens brings ‘the beautiful game’ to life by reporting on games in real-time – ‘lending his eyes’ to help blind and visually impaired football fans enjoy Eintracht Frankfurt matches. His biggest challenge? Staying objective! As a native of Frankfurt it can sometimes be painful to describe goals scored by the opposing team. 😊 http://deu.ba/60474A2TT #MoreThanBanking #DiversityChampion #InclusiveCulture

With the advent of machines, the question arose: will they leave us with more leisure time, or simply take our jobs away? The concerns we have today, especially regarding AI, were also concerns a hundred years ago. 💡 Dive into the past with us on What Next: https://lnkd.in/ezCD6sWM #TechEvolution #WorkforceTransformation #History
