This is why everybody at Daiichi Sankyo rolls up their sleeves and gets things done, even if this means that they sometimes have to go beyond their usual duties. If you would like to be an active member of our European family, we highly appreciate your application. Please take a look at our current vacancies. Breast cancer is the most common cancer globally, and by 2040 the incidence of breast cancer is predicted to be more than 3 million per year. The Lancet Breast Cancer Commission has reported key evidence and data in breast cancer research for several years, with a particular focus on spotlighting the experiences of people living with breast cancer that are more likely to experience inequity in their cancer care. A brand-new 2024 report from the Commission highlights the significant inequities experienced by those living with breast cancer today. These disparities – primarily related to physical symptoms, emotional impact, and financial burden - are often hidden and inadequately addressed. To tackle these issues, the report provides an evidence-based road map that calls for changes that ensure no one is left behind. 🚀 Exciting News from Daiichi Sankyo Europe in Pfaffenhofen! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that Pfaffenhofen will soon have its very own Daiichi-Sankyo-Straße! 🌟 The Pfaffenhofen town council unanimously decided to honor the importance of our company in the region by naming a new street that runs between Luitpoldstraße and Dieselstraße, right through our factory premises, as Daiichi-Sankyo-Straße. This milestone reflects the rich history of our site, which began as a branch of Luitpoldwerke in 1944, transitioned to the Japanese pharmaceutical company Sankyo in 1990, and became part of the Daiichi Sankyo Group in 2006. #DaiichiSankyo #Pfaffenhofen #Innovation

More than four out of five #CardiovascularDisease (CVD) deaths are due to heart attacks and strokes, and one third of these deaths occur prematurely in people under 70 years old of age. With the general population ageing and the rising prevalence of multimorbid cardiovascular conditions, it’s important that we start to re-think of how we deliver #CardiovascularCare and tailor it to people’s needs 🤗 This is why we are also interested in attending European Society of Cardiology at the end of this month, where we will delve into “Personalised Cardiovascular Care”. #DaiichiSankyoEurope #ESCCongress

In oncology, nurses are essential in ensuring that someone living with cancer gets the care they need, including crucial emotional support. Given the critical role that they play, how they communicate with patients is incredibly important. Through research and discussions with nurses, we identified three areas where we can further support them to communicate effectively 👇 #CancerCare #PatientCentricity

Living an active lifestyle has both physical and mental benefits. When we engage in moderate to vigorous physical activities, like cycling, we are not only exercising our bodies, but we are also improving our overall #CardiovascularHealth. Regular physical activity strengthens your heart muscle and improves your heart’s ability to pump blood to your lungs and throughout your body. As a result, more blood flows to your muscles and oxygen levels in your blood rise. As tomorrow is #CycleToWorkDay, we want to encourage everyone to hop on their bikes and stay active to improve your #HeartHealth! 🚲 #DaiichiSankyoEurope
