20FIFTY Wins German Design Award! 🏆🚲 We are proud to share that our new E-Bike "20FIFTY" has been awarded the German Design Award by Rat für Formgebung - German Design Council! 🇩🇪🏅  This recognition goes out to the commitment and innovative spirit of our amazing hardware team 👏 The 20FIFTY was developed with the aim of creating a fundamentally better bike for deliveries. Informed by insights gathered from over 300,000 repairs on our fleet, our engineers closely collaborated with our Mechanics to develop a next-generation e-bike, which excels in durability, safety, and technology, while also significantly reducing our operational costs. 🏋️ One of the highlights is a modular frame, featuring a unique dual-dropout system, that enables users to choose between two setups: a cargo bike with up to 200kg loading capacity or a sporty, agile city hopper.  🔋 And with a range of up to 150 km, commercial users can now complete entire shifts without needing a replacement battery. We are happy to announce that Sara Lundgren and Esther Bahne, two exceptional leaders in the mobility sector, have joined our Board of Advisors. Sara brings a wealth of experience as a supply chain leader, with 24 years in the industry. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Scania Logistics Nordic, Sara oversees the inbound and factory feeding process at Scania, leading an organization of over 600 professionals. She is known for her dedication to fostering an open and inclusive workplace culture, and has built strong and diverse teams that excel in operational efficiency and adaptability in the fast-paced logistics landscape. Esther is a Marketer at heart and an experienced leader of teams across all business functions. She has built and restructured a range of organizations and set up the Innovation Units for premium car companies like BMW Group and AUDI AG and had a vital role in the relaunch of an iconic brand: Mini Cooper. Taking the first step towards a greener organization: our 2022 sustainability report. For years, we wanted to understand the impact our business has on the environment. However, other pressing priorities often took precedence over tackling this task. In early 2023, we decided to make a change. We embarked on a journey to gather data from every team and every corner of our organization, culminating in our inaugural emissions report, spanning the year 2022. This report represents our first venture into emission calculations, a micro step on our path to becoming a more carbon-conscious organization. And since we believe in transparency and accountability, we're going to publish our findings and data annually. While the report is still far away from being perfect, we understood that perfection in sustainability is elusive. It's a complex terrain, and progress will take time. Yet, starting is key, and our first sustainability report signifies our dedication to improvement. Our goal is not only to understand and reduce our own carbon footprint but also inspire others to join us in this collective effort. So, please explore the report and share your thoughts. CYCLE and ONOMOTION (ONO) are working together to form a service partnership! In mid-October, CYCLE visited ONOMOTION (ONO) to take our mechanics to the next level. To enhance their skills and knowledge of the servicing of ONO cargo bikes, our mechanics from various German cities and teams have taken part in a comprehensive training. We are expanding our existing services for ONOMOTION (ONO) in Munich, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Nuremberg and Berlin, as well as offering the same level of service in the regions of North Rhine Westphalia and Hamburg. #wearecycle #ONO
