Chemovator Summer Venture Summit 🤝🏼🌞 Last week, we invited all of our Chemovator Venture Teams to Mannheim for our semi-annual Venture Summit, an opportunity to come together and exchange experiences, learn from each other, and showcase innovative ideas in a pitch competition. After an afternoon full of pitches, we all gathered to enjoy some delicious food, refreshing drinks and lively conversations in the sun 🥂 Congratulations to 🥇 ZEPTA.io, 🥈 Opteinics™, and 🥉 Quantistry for impressing the audience with the most convincing presentations and for taking home the pitch awards! We are incredibly grateful for everyone who participated, from our dedicated teams and alumni to our supportive network of Experts and Entrepreneurs in Residence. Together, we are shaping the future of the chemical industry! 💡

Cooking with Chemovator 🍽   Last week, the Chemovator Core Team got together for our quarterly Strategy Day. After this work-related event with meaningful insights and great discussions, we took part in a grill course by the Mannheim Cooking School in Friedelsheim.   During a relaxed evening, our barbecue skills were taken to the next level under the guidance of a great chef. But the most important thing was that we were able to connect as a team outside of the usual working atmosphere.   Afterwards, we shared a dinner with the meals we had prepared and let the evening come to a cozy end 💛

Event Recap: Hinterland of Things & Hack Summit 📍 Last week, our Chemovator Portfolio Management Team attended the Hinterland of Things conference in Bielefeld and this year's HackSummit in Lausanne. Here is a glimpse of their experiences! 🚀 At Hinterland of Things, Ricarda had the opportunity to reconnect with many familiar faces in the startup environment while also establishing new contacts with investors and entrepreneurs. In doing so she was joined by Martin C-Schmidt, co-founder and Managing Director of our Chemovator Venture Team ZEPTA.io. 🤝🏼 At Lake Geneva, Jennifer Kürner had the pleasure to meet an amazing crowd of climate and foodtech movers and shakers and made lots of relevant connections. 🎙

KG and MBG Baden-Württemberg GmbH, is a major milestone in digitalizing supply chain logistics and reducing CO₂ emissions in the industry. Last week, Chemovator was represented at two impactful events in the European Startup ecosystem 🌍 Gati Kalim and Markus Bold took part in this year's NOAH Conference in London. Their highlights were not only meeting likeminded investors and entrepreneurs, but especially being joined on stage by Michel Weinketz, co-founder of our Venture RESYCURE, and Xenia Beyrich-Graf, SVP Specialties and Bioscience Research at BASF. 🎤 A little further south, Ricarda Schulte from our Portfolio Management team attended South Summit 2024 in Madrid.
