Strengthening International Customer Focus @BHS! 👍️ Last week, our global sales and service team gathered at the Future Lab in Weiherhammer for the Global Sales and Service Meeting to seize the opportunities of personal discussions and international collaboration. Those two days were dedicated to presenting News and Innovations to the whole sales and service organizations worldwide. The focus was to clarify the companys' vision for the next years to all regions, as well as getting insights to the regional markets in order to sharpen our customer focus - with the goal of aligning our forces and to work as one BHS. Combining physical and remote participants and even remote presentations, we enabled even more colleagues to join this fruitful meeting. Highlights were several product spotlights and demo shows from Intralogistics via Corrugator to Digital and Lifecycle Solutions, a visit at our new logistics center and the impressive live show of our new digital printer, innovative product presentations. BHS Corrugated is reaching the next step in applied AI and the digital future: In cooperation with the Institute for Factory Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), we are breaking new ground in the intelligent control of our corrugated board production systems and plants. With Till Sindel (2nd from right), doctoral student at FAPS, and our new colleague Dr. Florian Loos (2nd from left), Innovation Manager at BHS, we have gained additional expertise in the areas of artificial intelligence, automation and simulation. Our 31 participants, mechanics, electricians and maintenance managers, were able to expand their knowledge and skills about the entire BHS corrugator. 👨🔧 They were able to visit the assembly halls for different machines as well as the production line of the corrugating rolls.
