Last week, ARX joined the Army Attachés & Defence Industries Meeting in the Deutscher Bundestag, an event hosted by the Foreign Council On Economic Relations. We were happy present our unmanned ground systems' advanced capabilities to key defense stakeholders and strengthen our commitment to pioneering European defense technology. It was great to engage in valuable conversations with defense experts and policymakers, showcase the advanced capabilities of our unmanned systems and discuss various proven use cases for unmanned ground systems. The ARX Companion Coin has deep roots in military tradition, where it serves as a token of respect, honor, and gratitude. It represents camaraderie, recognition, and a job well done. We are proud to carry this tradition forward within our own community, celebrating the dedication and support that each of you brings to ARX Robotics. We are excited to announce that more ARX Companion Coins will be presented in the future. ARX is excited to have NATO Innovation Fund (NIF) on board as strong partner and contributor to reach our mission of European tech resilience and sovereignty.

The ARX team recently conducted extensive field exercises at the Combat Training Center in Gardelegen. Partnering with the 413th Infantry Battalion and the Task Force Drone as well as the Soldier Innovation Lab and Amt für Heeresentwicklung, we rigorously tested our latest ground systems in a series of complex scenarios. ARX showcased three advanced ground systems to Bundeswehr soldiers for direct, hands-on implementation in dynamic exercises, focusing our collaborative efforts on following objectives: 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Seamlessly integrating our systems into the soldiers' routines, enhancing their ability to perform critical tasks such as medical evacuation (CASEVAC) and reconnaissance. 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Demonstrating the capabilities of Follow Me path planning and thermal imaging cameras. By presenting various scenarios, we showcased the strategic applications and timing for these technologies, emphasizing their practical benefits on the battlefield. 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Familiarizing soldiers with our systems and highlighting any weaknesses. This approach allows us to refine and adapt our technology to meet the precise conditions and requirements of the soldiers. Europe and the Western Allies are lacking mass autonomous unmanned systems to future-proof their armed forces in a rapidly changing technological environment. We are pleased to announce the deployment of ARX GEREON RCS systems with the German Armed Forces for training and operations under NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence in Slovakia. These multimodular systems, sent to the Multinational NATO Battle Group in May 2024, are designed with combat insights and offer a speed of 30 km/h and a range of 40 km before requiring a battery swap or recharge. Their compact design allows for swift deployment in operational areas. The GEREON RCS integrates with both mounted and dismounted forces, enhancing capabilities in reconnaissance, logistical support and RASEVAC missions, crucial for NATO’s Enhanced Vigilance Activities Mission. For dismounted infantry units, GEREON provides up to 500 kg of autonomous or remote-controlled transport, casualty evacuation, and advanced surveillance with cutting-edge sensors. For armored vehicle units, it increases situational awareness, assists in reconnaissance, and identifies strategic positions and potential threats. Equipped with the ARX Autonomy Kit, these unmanned ground systems navigate autonomously in the field using advanced sensors and AI. Marc A.
