Our Communities
David Thompson Country is located in West Central Alberta, just north of Calgary. It is a regional tourism partnership comprised of the major population centre of Rocky Mountain House, in addition to the village of Caroline, Clearwater County and the hamlet of Nordegg in western Clearwater County. The area boasts amazing natural and cultural history for those who dare to explore. The signature trails are within serenity’s place of comfort, a camper’s and hiker’s dream with hidden gems and spectacular scenery showcasing mother nature’s very best.
