Exactly a year (to the day) after we announced the pre-seed round at ElevenLabs led by us at Credo Ventures I’m excited to share that the company has raised $80m series B at over $1B valuation from Andreessen Horowitz, Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross, Sequoia Capital, Smash Capital, BroadLight Capital and us to cement its position as the global leader in voice AI research and product deployment. Just in 18 months since inception Mati, Piotr and the team have built a company that has become „the voice of AI revolution” with the most advanced research that got translated into a robust product suite used by over 40% of Fortune500 companies, leading content creators and publishing companies all around the world building such a strong brand that imo „one can’t be fired for buying ElevenLabs”. The ElevenLabs team is just getting started with new releases lined up. Dubbing Studio for complex video localization workflows, a Voice Library marketplace which will provide a secure platform for users to earn from their AI-generated voices or the Mobile App reader that enables instant conversion of text and URLs into audio, making it easier for users to access content in another medium while on the move are just some of the products on the agenda.
