Crime Stoppers

ALWAYS ANONYMOUS.

Crime Stoppers is a community crime prevention organization that rewards anonymous tipsters while supporting law enforcement in solving and preventing crime.

Crime Stoppers Edmonton and Northern Alberta is a charitable not-for-profit organization that allows tipsters to anonymously report information about crimes or suspicious behavior by phone or online. It is 100% anonymous. Your safety is our #1 priority. We will never ask for any personal or identifying information, we don’t have call trace, caller ID, voice recognition or tracking systems, and you will never be asked to appear in court, or talk to lawyers or police. You are the eyes and ears in the community when police are not around and we want to hear what you have to say.

When you report crime to us, we will pass this information on to the appropriate police station and a Crime Stoppers Coordinator highly trained in protecting your information and anonymity, supports the investigation of your information. Information that leads to arrest is eligible for a reward of up to $2000. (Note: Depending on the complexity of the investigation this may take some time to determine the tip amount, but we are committed to rewarding quality information.) You are in safe hands when you use Crime Stoppers.

NOTES:

Victims of Crime CANNOT use the Crime Stoppers program. Please contact police.

To report an emergency, crimes in progress, or drunk driving please contact 9-1-1.

We are a strong, vibrant organization that partners with the Edmonton Police Service, RCMP and Military Police to keep our communities safe. and count on the support of community members, exceptional volunteers, donations, organizations, and financial support to provide our services. Our Executive Director provides day to day support to the province, liaising with law enforcement, board members, community, and staff to provide a program you can trust.

Thank you, Alberta, for your continued commitment to safety and community well-being. We are here for YOU.
