Gish shares her experiences on the film, which she describes as “guerrilla filmmaking” over an 18-day shoot. She explores the heaviness of the movie as it tells the story of a family of bull riders fighting to survival in a small Texas town while dealing with addictions, health issues, and the prominence of religion embedded in the deep south. Known for her work in things like Mystic PizzaThe X-Files, and Sons of Anarchy, she also digs into how she finds herself playing voices of authority more and more frequently.

Elsewhere, Gish touches on her own longevity in Hollywood. She discusses her love for working with Mike Flanagan inside his universe (including great roles in The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher), as well as returning to Pretty Little Liars for its latest run.
