NAILS have announced their fourth studio album, Every Burning Bridge, out August 30th, along with the lead single and opening track “Imposing Will.”
The California band will be supporting the album with a short run of North American tour dates this fall. The initial leg (with support from 200 Stab Wounds and more) kicks off on September 11th in Montreal and runs through September 20th in Brooklyn, New York.
NAILS will then play the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival on September 21st in Worcester, Massachusetts, before heading overseas to the UK for a slot at Damnation Festival in Manchester on November 2nd. Lastly, a brief three-day California run with Xibalba is set for mid-November.

“Imposing Will” is the first new music from NAILS since 2019 and showcases each facet of band’s sound, impressively doing so in just a minute and 22 seconds. It opens with claustrophobic grindcore before giving way to a thrash breakdown and a locked groove that is sure to stir the moshpit at the upcoming gigs.
Nails singer-guitarist Todd Jones stated, “‘Imposing Will’ is special to the record in that I knew we wanted it to be the opener. We wanted it to have the effect of an urgency; an immediacy in the music itself. When you push play, you get smacked in the face.”
Every Burning Bridge was produced by Kurt Ballou at God City Studio and features the band’s new lineup of Jones, drummer Carlos Cruz (Warbringer), bassist Andrew Solis (Despise You, Apparition), and guitarist Shelby Lermo (Ulthar).
