Cleopatra Coleman joins Kyle Meredith to talk about her portrayal of V. Stiviano in the FX miniseries Clipped, which tells the true story the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his eventual downfall. Listen to the interview above, or wherever you get your podcasts, and watch the full interview below.

The Australian actress discusses the media frenzy that the real Stiviano created after leaking tapes of Sterling’s racists rants. She talks about connecting to such a story, and how she ultimately looked to humanize the human being behind the tabloid persona.

Coleman goes on to talk about how the series reflects issues of race, power, celebrity, and societal expectations in modern America. She also gives a peek into what it’s like working with Ed O’Neil, whether or not fans will see any more of her character Devra Bloodaxe in upcoming installments of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon series, and her shoegaze-inspired music.
