Oasis have announced they are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe, with an expansive reissue arriving on August 30th.

Along with the 2014 remastered version of the album, Definitely Maybe (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) features unearthed tracks from the original recording session at Monnow Valley Studios and outtakes recorded at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall — all newly mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho.

The reissue also includes new artwork from original art designer Brian Cannon for Microdot and original sleeve photographer Michael Spencer Jones, as well as new sleeve notes penned by Creation Records boss Alan McGee and journalist Hamish MacBain.

The 30th anniversary expanded edition will be available in limited edition deluxe 4xLP, deluxe 2xCD, limited edition blue cassette, and digital formats. There are also multiple colored vinyl variants. Pre-orders are ongoing.

Oasis were among the finalists for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024,  but will have to wait at least another year for their inevitable induction. Vocalist Liam Gallagher didn’t seem to care either way, saying the Rock and Roll Hall is “full of bumbaclarts” shortly after their nomination was announced.

Regardless, Liam Gallagher is headed out on his solo “Definitely Maybe 30 Years Tour” this summer after his estranged brother/bandmate Noel Gallagher (who once called it the “last great punk album”) apparently “refused” the opportunity to reunite.
