Former Syracuse women's basketball star Dyaisha Fair is headed overseas to play in the Israeli Female Basketball Premier League with Maccabi Haifa, according to the team's Instagram.

The move comes after Fair was waived by the Las Vegas Aces in May. Fair was selected in the second round of the WNBA Draft by the Aces and made the opening night roster, but did not stick with the two-time defending WNBA champions.

Maccabi Haifa went 6-12 last season. There are 11 teams in the league and the season begins in the fall. Israel's top female basketball league, the Premier League features numerous former collegiate players from the U.S.

Fair finished her five-year college career between Syracuse and the University at Buffalo ranked third all-time in scoring in NCAA Division I women's basketball, totaling 3,403 points. The Rochester native led Syracuse to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2024, averaging 22.3 points per game in her senior season.
