Le Moyne AD Bob Beretta takes new job at St. Bonaventure

SYRACUSE N.Y. — Le Moyne College's assistant vice president for athletics and recreation, Bob Beretta, is taking a new job at St. Bonaventure.

Beretta will take over the AD position plus serve as the school's vice president.

The Newburgh, N.Y. native will replace Joe Manhertz, who resigned back in March.

Beretta became the athletics director for Le Moyne in 2021 after a renowned 34-year career at Army West Point.

Beretta played a pivotal role overseeing the Dolphins' transition to Division II to Division I in the Northeast Conference.

He will be joining his Alma Mater where he served as the captain of the Bonnies' baseball team back in the 1980s.

He will be formally introduced in a press conference on Friday.
