MATTYDALE, N.Y. — The pedestrian struck and killed while walking north on Route 11 in Mattydale has been identified as 75-year-old William Southwick of Salina. The investigation is ongoing.

One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Mattydale on Monday night.

According to the Onondaga County Sherriff's Office, a pedestrian was walking north on Route 11 near Hinsdale Road at approximately 11 p.m. when they were struck.
