THE VILLAGES, Fla. (TND) — An argument over drinking led to two chest bumps and a call for help, authorities in Florida said.
It was late Saturday, March 23, when the suspect's wife told a sheriff’s deputy he “had been drinking, and they began arguing over him drinking tonight,” his arrest report said.
“The victim stated during the argument, it became physical.
“The victim stated the defendant used his chest and bumped her chest.
“The victim stated the defendant then used his hand to push her chest.
“I did observe the victim's chest to be red, caused by the defendant pushing her.
“The defendant then stated, ‘I'm going to f*** you up.’”
Then, the deputy spoke to John Moberg.
“He and the victim were arguing about his drinking problem,” she wrote he said.
And that was all he told her.
Moberg, 63, was charged with battery and spent two-and-a-half days in jail until his release, in lieu of $1,000 bond.
