ORISKANY, N.Y. -- The man accused of killing a Utica teenager last weekend is out of the hospital and has been officially booked in jail.

Brandon Clark, 21 from Bridgeport in Cicero, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Bianca Devins, 17.

He is now being held in the Oneida County Jail, after spending several days in the hospital recovering from what police say were self-inflicted wounds.

Investigators say Clark slashed Devins’ neck and posted photos of her dead body online. He stabbed himself, police said, and took selfies of himself lying across the body.

Devins was a popular social media personality with a following on Instagram, 4chan, and Discord.

Police say that the two met two months ago through social media. They were romantically involved, according to investigators, and had met each other's families.

The pair met up on Saturday, July 13 in order to head to a concert in New York City. Officials believe that an argument at the concert escalated to Clark killing Devins with a large, black knife on Sunday when they arrived back in Utica.

Clark is due in Utica City Court next week.
