New York State Police seek pickup truck after hit-and-run with a patrol car in Syracuse

New York State Police are on the lookout for a pickup truck that sideswiped a patrol vehicle in Syracuse early Monday.

On Monday at approximately 3:55 a.m., troopers parked their patrol vehicle at the intersection of Gertrude Avenue and Oak Street to investigate a stolen vehicle complaint when their patrol vehicle was struck by a F150 pickup truck traveling east on Gertrude Avenue.

The pickup truck fled the scene. New York State Police describe the F150 pickup truck as dark in color and was occupied by a driver and a passenger in the front seat.

Photos of the suspect vehicle were taken from city surveillance cameras.
