Brandon Clark was sentenced Monday to 25 years to life in prison for the murder of 17-year-old Bianca Devins, according to Joleen Ferris with WKTV.

Clark, from Bridgeport, was arrested in July 2019 for brutally killing Bianca in a knife attack. He posted graphic pictures of her body on social media and called police to the scene of the crime, stabbing himself in the throat when they arrived.

Before his sentencing, Bianca's mother, sister, and grandfather addressed the court and recounted their grief.

Kim Devins, Bianca's mother, said she's haunted by images of her daughter's murder and struggles to get through the day.

Clark told the court that he hates himself for what he did and apologized to Bianca's family.
