The Bridgeport man accused of killing a 17-year-old Utica teen pleaded guilty in court on Monday, according to a report from WKTV.

Brandon Clark, 21, from Bridgeport, was arrested in July for brutally killing Bianca Devins, 17, in a knife attack.

He posted graphic pictures of her body on social media and called police to the scene of the crime, stabbing himself in the throat when they arrived. He originally pleaded not guilty.

Police say the pair allegedly met on Instagram and had been romantically involved for roughly two months before the murder. They spent time together and had both met each other's families, police say.

Devin was a popular social media personality with a following on Instagram, 4chan, and Discord.

Police say that the pair went to a concert in New York City on the night before Devins' murder. Officials believe that an argument at the concert escalated to Clark killing Devins with a large, black knife when they arrived back in Utica.

Investigators believe that this is when Clark took pictures of Devins' body and shared them on social media.

In Oneida County Court on Monday, Clark pled guilty to second-degree murder. The court has scheduled sentencing for April 6.
