This has an awesome sesame taste! The fact it is roasted adds a touch of sweetness that perfectly compliments cold sesame noodles with a touch of black vinegar and chili oil added. I recommend putting it into the fridge for a few hours after first receiving and it will thicken right up. This is a very good product and I'll be doing a subscription order for this.

The product may have tasted great, I ignored other reviews about receiving the product damaged (leaking). Mine also arrived leaking so I didn’t try it. I did try to tighten the lid and that’s when I discovered what is likely the problem. As you turn the lid to tighten it using modest pressure it reaches a point where it just pops loose. A lid shouldn’t do that. The manufacturer should double check its current lid supply and coordinate with its supplier if this is the issue.

This is my first time cooking with a product like this (to make cold Sesame noodles...yummm). The paste had separated into liquid and solid, which made it very hard to work with. It has been suggested to "stir it vigorously for 30 minutes" to reconstitute... Who is actually going to do that?! Putting it all into a blender is another suggestion, and I think I'll try that the next time. The taste here was just okay, and the re-mixing was very messy, so I think I'll look for another product the next time.

The product was in a box that was entirely too big and had nothing to keep the product from rolling around inside of it so the oil had gotten all over the other item in the box. Lesson learned about checking the refund/return policy before buying because for this item there isn't a policy for either.
