Be careful with any new peeler, they are razor sharp. Don't use wet slippery hands to hold, and don't try to cut close, it's not worth it.

Wicked sharp, worked great. Comfortable. About the third time I used it the blade popped out, I put it back in but then it wouldn't stay in at all. It seems to depend on about half a millimeter of metal in a plastic socket to hold the blade in place, anything you do that flexes the plastic (like peeling a carrot) allows the blade to escape. It's a shame, it's a very nice peeler when it works. Now it's gone to the trash.
