If you are looking to invest in a nice set of kitchen storage bags, I would highly recommend these. They are a great alternative to zip-lock or other plastic bags. They keep things pretty fresh and are very sturdy too (I know this because I am very hard on my things). That being said, I would not fill them with liquid and squeeze them. It seems kind of obvious, but I've witnessed it happen and it was hilarious.
Other than that, they ARE dishwasher and freezer safe. They are not easily stained, but sometimes debris likes to stick to the outside if they're in a dusty drawer. I have yet to try using them in the microwave, but I can imagine they would survive since they survive the higher temperatures of the dishwasher. Overall, I would say they are totally worth the investment!
