I bought these two footrests because I was going to be on a long-haul flight (10 hours) with a 3 year old and a 5 month old baby. Both footrests worked well and came with an eye mask and a pair of earplugs. We flew with TUI on a Dreamliner. The footrest fit alright in between seats...you can inflate or deflate as needed.

The only way to use them is if you have the window seat and the one (or two) next to it. On the way out one of the stewards saw us use it after a couple hours and told us to deflate it. Not allowed. For the time that we used it, my 3 yr old seemed to pretty comfortable extending her feet and sitting back.

On the way back we inflated only one of them for my 3 year old. She was sat by the window, I lowered her tray and the one in the middle (empty seat). I had the aisle seat. In the end, she lied down on both seats and did not use the foot rest.

Oh, they also came in handy on the train.

Inflates by two cushions in one side. The other side by one cushion. And then when fully inflated makes a three average foot cushion. Full inflation will make approx 40 cms height.

Inflation very quick and easy. No need for pump.

Could only use one inflation on aeroplane. Too bulky otherwise and not enough legroom. Would be too bulky for car travel. Need room when inflated on either small or large cushion.

Very good quality material. And does not deflate. Worth Buying if for multipurpose use.

I wanted a footstool to help keep my legs raised at home due to circulation problems and not being able to afford the more extortionate prices of other styles.
However I feel I should have saved the money spent on this also. Its flat packed and deflatable, so i guess ok for travel and that's about as much as I can say on the using it for travelling.
For a footrest? Its 'ok' and quite a bit 'meh'. It deflates far more rapidly than any other type of inflatable footstool I have had in the past. The air knobs you inflate through are huge, so that takes up a good inch or two off width on one side. But the main bug bear for me is the rate of deflation! Within an hour or so of use, one of the portions is nearly flat, the second is starting to go down as well.

Poor design? Faulty? All I know is that I would not recommend this item in the slightest.

They said they blocked the air vents (which we could see and they were clearly not covering!) check with your airline first. But great product

Baby’s first trip - turned 1 years old. We flew from Seattle to Chicago (4hrs) and had an entire row to ourselves. It fit surprisingly perfectly between our seat and the seat back in front of us. Inflated fairly easy and in about 2 mins or so. Deflated fast as well. Has a larger nozzle to let air out easier. I’d say this item actually was as described! Only thing is the carrying case/pouch is a little on the cheap side and started tearing as I was trying to put it back in. Not a big deal tho
