I bought the 64 oz growler and was really pleased with it. I saw the french press and thought it would be good to use it as a teapot... the website only had the dimensions and I didn't bother to check out the measurements. When I received the product I was a bit surprised that it's actuall the same size as the 64 oz growler! I haven't used it yet but I am sure it'll work just fine to keep my tea warm.

I absolutely love coffee, and coffee made in a french press is my go-to. I was using a Bodum previously as it was inexpensive, but found that it didn't hold temperature very long and eventually the beaker glass would crack and I'd have to get rid of it. I found this Stanley french press product at a great price and decided to give it a try. I've used it now for a few weeks and love it. It retains the hot temperature of my coffee that I love, it is easy to disassemble and clean, and it looks and feels solid. I also like the fact that it is insulated and stainless steel. This is a Stanley product, so of course it's rugged and well-made. It will make a full 12 cup pot of coffee, though you don't 12 cups because part of the volume gets taken up by the coffee grounds. The press is easy to use. If you know how to use a French press, it makes great coffee. It stays hot decently long, but it will lose heat through the top because that part is uninsulated. Keep it clean and treat if carefully, and it's great for front-country camping and coffee time when there's nothing but an electice kettle.

I just used the Stanley FP and it made a wonderful cup. I'm highly critical of coffee and I had just gotten beans roasted yesterday which is always a bonus. Sofar its kept the coffee hot but it hasn't been a hour yet so I'll edit after some time as thats what I really wanted the 48 oz for. The 32 didn't make a sufficient amount. However, the 4 star rating is due to the fact the filter/strainer broke on 1st use. The spiral wire popped loose and I think allowed grounds through. I used a tea strainer to filter the grounds getting through and the coffee was delicious. I'm returning but I did just order a replacement to give it a go again. If it happens again I will return and get a Yeti. I considered doing now but the 48 oz is perfect and Yeta jumps to a 64oz. I can make a short pot but in a french press with no lines hard to know the correct measure for water& your always guessing. I'm hoping the new one coming works. One note - when shipped it wasn't in its own box, it was loose rolling around in the Amazon box so I have to wonder if something happened there to loosen the wire because I didn't really examine it other than it seem fined. Once the hot water got in I guess it expanded and popped the spiral. I haven't found another 48oz FP so this is it. Anyway, hope new one is ok. Not sure if I can update review when new one comes but I will try to report.

I don't use this all the time but when I do I'm always happy with it. It really bring out the flavor of the coffee, it works well. It brews more coffee than what I need for myself. It could have a better design for the lid where the press rod goes through, it's a sloppy hole where liquid can get in and you can't take it apart to clean it. It's very sturdy and easy to use though. They also could put measurement lines on the inside, that would be very helpful.

I've used French presses in the past and really enjoy the coffee they produce. My percolator died the other morning (my current fav way to brew coffee). I was able to get this Stanley delivered by the next morning (while I await my new percolator). Although it is more than I wanted to spend, it is very durable and substantial. It works great and is super easy to clean. I will keep this on hand for the next time my percolator dies (cuz it will; they only last 2-3 yrs) and will use it for glamping as well. And, the bonus....it's really pretty.

 Estou encantado com a Prensa Francesa Stanley Classic Polar, 1,4 L! Gostei tanto que até gravei alguns vídeos e os publiquei no YouTube. Ela mantém o café quente por muito tempo, especialmente se você lembrar de girar a tampa para o lado oposto do bico. Tenho experimentado o café Mooca da Cheirinho Bão e o Café Especial Exótico - Domiciano da Fruto Mineiro, e ambos ficam excelentes nela. Moí os grãos na medida 8 para serem usados na prensa francesa, e o resultado foi perfeito.

Embora esse produto não esteja no catálogo da Stanley no Brasil, ele está disponível na América do Norte e no Reino Unido, o que me tranquilizou quanto à sua autenticidade. A embalagem poderia ser melhor, mas a prensa chegou sem nenhum arranhão. Recomendo fortemente!
