I don't know why we had been putting off getting an air fryer - probably one of the reasons was that there are so many out there that it is hard to choose. In the end I was happy I got this one. The size is perfect for a severing for two, and it cooks food so unexpectedly fast, that doing two rounds is not a pain. One of the things I like best, is how little time it takes to get pre-heated. The instructions on the screen help you along and makes it easy for a first time user to understand the process (not that using an air fryer is rocket science). But experimenting with times and temps for various foods is not that hard, so that you get just the right results.
The size and aesthetics are spot on. It really matches our other GE stainless steel appliances and looks like is part of the Kitchen. Cleaning the trays is a breeze compared to a traditional oven. Can't commend about long term longevity but item looks sturdy enough. We have already gotten our money's worth out of it. Very happy with the purchase.

Bottom started rusting almost immediately (edited great customer service)
Overall I actually love this little air fryer. It does a great job cooking the food, cleans up easily, etc. I gave it 2 stars because of those positives. However, within a month of starting to use it I noticed a small spot of rust on the "floor" of the fryer. I believe this is caused by the steam created during cooking. I've kept it clean, wiped it with paper towels, etc. but still 7 months later the entire floor is now covered in rust. I use the fryer on average 2-3 times a week, so daily use probably would have resulted in this MUCH faster. So far it's still useable, and I guess I'll keep using it until it rusts through the floor and is no longer useable. But the next one I buy will be a different brand. Any item made to cook food should be impervious to liquids and not rust immediately.Came back and edited my review. I contacted the company to inquire about the warranty and they sent me a new air fryer, no hassles. Changed it from 2 to 4 because they do have excellent customer service. Left it at 4 instead of 5 because of the rust issue.

What can I say. I like this air fryer a lot. Arrived at my door in two days well packaged. And the price was very reasonable. Really like the sleek stylish appearance. It looks good sitting next to my stainless steel optigrill and my stainless steel instant pot. But appearance isn’t what prepares the food. Any of the reviews stated a strong plastic smell that infused itself into the food. I followed the instructions with sn initial cleaning of the basket and the tray I pn the bottom of the basket with warm soapy water and a good rinse followed by a 20 minute test run on air fry mode @ 400F. The first test run it did smell pretty strong but it wasn’t overbearing. Did it a second time at the same settings and this time the odor was significantly less. The first true “run” with food was a batch of sliced potatoes. They came out perfect. Tonight I did a batch of homemade buffalo wings (pictured). To me they came out just as good or better than those at a wing place. I could only get maybe a dozen in the basket in a single layer but these were pretty big wings. Since I live alone that was plenty for a good meal. The machine runs fairly quietly for an air fryer. It’s actually quieter than my little 1.2 quart Dash Mimi air fryer. The controls are very easy to set and use. The display is nice and big and good and bright so if you have a brightly lit kitchen you’ll have no trouble seeing it. Cleanup was easy as pie. After it cooled a little warm soapy water and a soft sponge and a rinse it’s all good for the next fry session. All in all, I really like this air fryer a lot. I was going to go with the 6 quart version but saw a lot of reviews saying the basket handles were breaking but this seems pretty well built. Would I recommend this unit? You betcha!! Very pleased so far. I’ll do an update after I’ve used it more.
