High-quality solid pan. For health reasons, I don't like to cook in anything aluminum or in anything with "non-stick" coatings. However, I was still using those dollar store roasting pans every year until I got fed up when the aluminum disposable roasting pan I used for the Thanksgiving turkey wouldn't hold its shape and allowed copious amounts of turkey basting juice to spill into the oven, creating major smoke and setting off the smoke alarm. I shopped around and it's not that easy to find a decent roasting pan under $100. Some were poorly rated for their flimsy handles and thin metal construction, others are made from that non-stick coating that releases gases that will kill any birds nearby (anyone remember why they used to send canaries down into the coal mines?), other pans were very small, some were safety-rated to only 350 degrees (which is scary - what happens when you go over that - does it melt, warp?), and yet another was a crock-pot style which roasts the turkey but had mixed reviews because the porcelain-type coating was off-gassing and chipped easily (why would I want to cook food in something that off-gasses or chips off into the food?) Finally found this pan, which is rated to 500 degrees and feels very solid. From what I can tell, it should be able to hold the 21-25 lb. size turkey that I typically cook for Thanksgiving, as long as I truss up the legs. The only thing I noticed is that it added to the cooking time. This weekend, I roasted an unstuffed 15 pound turkey which the turkey package said should cook in 3-3.5 hours, but it took 4.5 hours and I think it must be because this pan is significantly thicker than the crappy disposable pans I was using (it's not ridiculously heavy or anything, just solid). It's worth it to me to factor in the extra hour or so and not have the roasting pan bend or fall apart when I am putting the pan in the oven or taking the turkey out. I tented the top with foil and, after putting the turkey back in the oven for the additional hour and 15 minutes, it came out cooked out to perfection - moist and tender. The pan and rack were easy to clean and I can tell that this is the only roasting pan I will ever need to buy.

This roasting pan is very sturdy and solidy made. I roasted a chicken in it, and it cooked evenly. The rack is easy to remove and easy to clean. The pan itself is easy to clean as well, after soaking it for a bit in dish soap and water. Nothing stuck to it. However, there were some spots in the finish after I finished cleaning the pan. Maybe I soaked it a bit too long? Anyway, that's not a big deal to me and I'm pleased with the purchase.

It is absolutely phenomenal.
While it may not be All-Clad, it's the closest thing to it and -honestly- at a quarter of the price you really can't go wrong.
I also bought a set of their nouvelle non-stick pans as well as a steamer so as to have all of my bases covered.
The quality is simply killer!!

I purchased this set as a valentine's gift for my kitchen-god of a boyfriend so as to replace the random free items from friend and family and goodwill finds he has been using. I really wanted to get him something of value.
When the package got to me and I saw how fantastic the quality was I became so excited that I actually gave it to him two days earlier than the holiday. They're heavy, but not overly so, the handles feel great in your hand, and these bad boys looks like they could take a beating.
Needless to say, my boyfriend was thrilled and immediately stated that he would have to get a hanging rack to store them properly.

He has a gas stove. He cooked on low-medium heat however some discoloration did occur, especially on the bottom where the flame touched.
(Which is normal!!) & No problem! We grabbed some Barkeeper's Friend and it is like it never happened!

This set is seriously awesome. I am not one to just go throwing my money around so I did my best to research this product.
Oddly, there really are NOT that many reviews floating around and I really had to dig.

All I can say to someone looking for EXCELLENT quality at an affordable price compared to what is usually charged;
THIS IS THE WAY TO GO!!

I heat the pan using medium low heat first, then add oil or butter (whatever is required), then I add meat, chicken or fish and go from there. If searing, frying, stewing, no matter what I control the stove temp and so far no burnt pans and no stains. They're really great. Delivery was on time as per. One isue would be that the large sections of the box was wrapped in black plastic to hide the contents however the short sides of the box was not wrapped and the sides reveal all the contents. Why wrap only part of the box? Other than that 5 stars for the pots. Will get a more cheffy set in a couple years. Upward and onward
