She has also written for The Guardian and Bon Appetit, and was a contributor to Signature Dishes That Matter. Since 2014, Susan has been the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Academy Chair for World's 50 Best Restaurants and Asia's 50 Best Restaurants.

Amazing recipes with a lot of heart and soul
This book was a gift for my husband and I and I’m so excited to find the recipes are easy, simple ingredients and lots of different ways to cook chicken! I love the book divided by sections using the different parts of chicken meat. To me chicken is so boring but Susan definitely made it fun and tasty! Can’t wait to try all the recipes in this book! (Perfect timing as my husband changed his diet to no red meat 🙄)

This book is for those who want cholesterol through the roof. I got it because it was recommended in a book review (lesson learned, I hope), but because I’ve lived in southeast Asia and loved it, and certainly never saw people cook so much that was battered.

So many wonderful totally different ways to make fried chicken (as well as stuffed, stir fried, sauted recipes) that my family coulnd't get enough of,

This is the great much needed book on fried chicken. I was amazed to find so many different ways that chicken can be prepared. Very insightful about how to make white meat moist and delicious. Highly recommend this book for fried chicken lovers!

I am not a natural cook. But I do like fried chicken. The lucid prose, the clear and easy to follow recipes, and the delicious dishes might just persuade me to prepare meals more often. The recipes range from the simple to the sophisticated. Surprisingly, I think my favourite may not be the crowd pleasing Sriracha Wings, but rather the Sichuan Chicken Pot…

The book is a mixture of all different recipes for chicken throughout Asia. It covers fried chicken from Thailand, Chicken Nuggets with Sambal Belacan and coconut milk, Sichuan Chicken Pot, Maragrita Fore"s Fried chicken with gravy from the Phillipines to Korean Fried Chicken. There is something in this book for everyone. What I have cooked so far has been a success. There are a few ingredients in the recipes, but pretty much everything I have to hand - but if you do not stock a lot of the inredients you may have to go shopping but that's very common with any cookbook. I would definitely recommend this book if you love chicken like we do.

I can’t wait to start cooking from this book. I was worried there wouldn’t be much variety, I mean how many ways can you fry chicken- well believe me, there are many!
