right clamp for the job
I use these in my garden to clamp shade cloth to 1/2 PVC pipe shade structures. They work perfectly, never come loose and are reusable forever, even if they rust a bit. I've had some for five seasons and they are just as good today as the first time. The 1" capacity clips are the only ones suitable for clamping to the pipe. The smaller ones can be used in other ways, to clamp cloth to trellis bars or plastic trellises, or just fold the edges of two pieces of cloth and clamp together. if one folds and rolls the cloth edges enough for the clamp to hold securely, then a piece of cloth too small to meet the shade structure edges can be stretched and held in place with garden twine.
