Angola's implementation of SOURCE for PPP, concessions and public investment projects was highlighted in the recent SOURCE Community meeting held on June 18. Despite challenges with change management, the government remains confident in SOURCE playing a strategic role in enabling sustainable growth by digitalising the alignment of PPP projects with the National Development Plan. In addition, the SOURCE Community welcomed Pakistan (Government of Sindh) as a new member and elected Ecuador as the new Chair. SIF extends its gratitude to the leadership of Panama as the inaugural Chair of the Community from September 2023 to June 2024. We wish Ecuador all the best in driving the objective of continued international collaboration as the SOURCE Community continues to expand. https://lnkd.in/g7yfm6dw African Development Bank Group Asian Development Bank (ADB) European Investment Bank (EIB) Inter-American Development Bank IFC - International Finance Corporation The World Bank Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation Ministério do Planeamento

It was great to see a SOURCE Community member country, Ecuador, present their PPP projects at the SDG Investment Fair held on April 23-25, 2024, organised by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. H.E. Mr. Pablo Cevallos, Secretaría de Inversiones Público - Privadas (Secretary of Public-Private Investments) participated in the "Investor Roundtable - Transport and Logistics" session, enhancing transparency and bankability under their new PPP legal framework. . On April 26, a Post-Fair Workshop hosted by the UN DESA, with an audience of over 50 participants from 22 countries, featured SOURCE as a digital platform that empowers governments in the development of sustainable infrastructure projects 🌍✨. This was a great opportunity to highlight the role of the SOURCE platform in project development and connecting projects with project preparation facilities and the investor market. SIF demonstrated how SOURCE’s frameworks, common language and unique features standardise the systematic collection of data and streamline SDG-aligned investment opportunities.
