Exciting news! The irmos family continues to grow.  Let's extend a warm welcome to our newest team member, Carolin Frühauf Hölzl, who joins irmos technologies AG as an Executive Assistant. Carolin holds an M.A. from the University of Passau in Germany. Her language skills have led her to work as a freelance editor and proofreader for scientific Master's and Doctoral theses across various disciplines, as well as a translator for commercial texts, websites, and academic theses. As an Executive Assistant, Carolin will support our team in a variety of areas, including administration, communication, intellectual property, and human resources, among others. Please join us in welcoming Carolin as she embarks on this exciting journey with us! 🚀

I am very proud to finally share one of our case studies, together with armasuisse Immobilien! I would like to personally thank Fabio Brantschen, PhD and his team for their trust and the immense support in the first steps of irmos technologies AG! Yves Reuland of irmos technologies AG has been recognized as a co-author for the featured article titled “Post-earthquake structural damage assessment and damage state evaluation for RC structures with experimental validation”  selected as the Featured Article for the April 2024 issue of Engineering Structures | Engineering Journals Elsevier. Exciting Update! Irmos technologies AG is one of the six startups and ten non-profit organizations selected for the prestigious “KlimUp” funding program, supported by the City of Zurich. We are excited to be part of this initiative and look forward to contributing to a greener future. The #KlimUp aims to advance the city’s climate goal of net-zero emissions and promote intelligent use of resources. Our application was approved after a thorough evaluation by an interdisciplinary expert commission. We are excited to introduce Kenrick Trip as our new Hardware Development Engineer. Welcome to the team! Kenrick comes from the Netherlands, is a Mechatronics System Engineer and is passionate about mountain biking, hiking and traveling. He brings a wealth of knowledge as a mechatronics engineer with a solid background in electrical and embedded software engineering. Kenrick holds two MSc degrees in Control Systems and Embedded Systems engineering from Delft University of Technology and has worked for 4 years at a very promising MedTech start-up, Corbotics B.V., developing the next generation of heart diagnostics through robotics and artificial intelligence.
