The International Coaching Week (ICW) is a global celebration that began in 1999 to promote professional coaching. Every year, during the same week, a variety of events are organized worldwide with the aim of presenting to the public the value of working with a professional coach: webinars, conferences, workshops, round tables, public coaching demonstrations, pro bono sessions, and many other activities organized by International Coaching Federation (ICF) members in their local communities.
At ICF Switzerland, we do not organize events at the national chapter or the local community level during ICW. This allows ICFS to give full space to members and their offerings.
It has been two months since the event organized for ICW by Romina Henle in Lugano. How was it for the participants? Read the testimonial by Paola Capochiani: ""Attending the coaching event offered for the International Coaching Week was both interesting and engaging. I really appreciated having various coaches available and the opportunity to be a coachee for 15 minutes with each one. It was fascinating to see different approaches and understand what it means to receive coaching, including the kinds of questions asked. Although it wasn't always easy to come up with a theme in just 15 minutes, the experience was incredibly instructive. I particularly enjoyed the roundtable format, where during the intro we sat in a circle and very briefly all shared our journeys. Listening to others' paths was inspiring, and I would definitely participate again in Coaching At First Sight. The whole formula was very exciting and fun, stimulating, and absolutely worth repeating.""
