MILESTONE ALERT 📣🚨 The very first system for inline label printing with 100% vision inspection has passed its Site Acceptance Test 🎉 Created in a partnership between CIM, Hapa AG and PPS A/S, the system prints the full color artwork on blank labels and inspects each and every one of them in the process. This means that pharmaceutical companies will need only one label type in stock instead of hundreds of preprinted variants to accommodate all markets and product types. Our software for digital print automation handles batch execution across all sub systems, integration to the main line, label inspection, GxP data logging and data collection for statistical process control. “Our philosophy is to develop great standard products and combine them to create unique solutions and this is exactly what we have done here,” says CIM Site Director Anders Rohde, who has been leading the effort. The SAT represents the culmination of years of hard work and Anders Rohde is very happy to finally see the solution making its way into production: “While this specific project has been a year underway, we have been working on developing the technology for 4.5 years.
