AKRIS SUMMER/PRE-FALL 2024 The collection is Albert Kriemler’s creative epilogue to a spring inspired by the oeuvre of Wiener Werkstätte artist Felice Lizzi Rix-Ueno. Birds, stars, and tassels were Lizzi’s preferred motifs – everything that is light, delicate, and floats inhabits her folkloristic, yet modern universe. Case in point, these seasonal prints, the Rooster and Kasuri Birds, illustrate the vibrant simplicity that pervades the collection. Every three years, the city of St. Gallen in Eastern Switzerland celebrates its «Kinderfest» [children's festival]. For 200 years, the festival has been firmly anchored in the culture of St. Gallen. Teachers, parents, St. Gallen residents, and children – the festival brings everyone together for a day to remind us why St. Gallen has always been and still is the Swiss textile city. Akris was dressing the «Oberstufe West» school this year. Girls and boys could choose between a T-shirt with a skirt and a shirt with shorts. The T-shirts and shirts are made of printed cotton poplin fabric from the Akris Punto Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Akris has incorporated the wishes of the teenagers so that they feel cool, comfortable, and confident on this day. Sustainability is a core value at Akris, and all clothing was made by our employees in our ateliers. A large part of the clothing was also made from existing fabrics. #Akris #Kinderfest #StGallen #Switzerland

At Akris, every detail tells a story. For our Spring 2024 Fashion Show at #ParisFashionWeek, we crafted a stunning backdrop adorned with vibrant paper poppies, each meticulously handmade by Aurélie Cerasa and her team. But the journey of these beautiful poppies didn't end on the runway. As the collection hit our stores six months later, we repurposed these intricate paper flowers to bring the same runway magic to the boutique windows of our 18 boutiques worldwide and events. Each window became a reflection to our commitment to sustainability and creativity, offering our customers a glimpse into the artistry that defines our brand. #Akris #AkrisSpring24
