Online Courses

The university offers a number of 16-week online courses intended for undergraduate students at all JWU campuses. Undergraduate day program and CE students are not permitted to enroll in eight-week online sections. Before students register for an online course, they should review what to expect in online classes. Students may not register for more than 9.0 semester credits in online courses in any given semester.

International Undergraduate Students: A minimum of nine credits of face-to-face instruction is required per semester; any credits above that may be taken online.

International Graduate Students: A minimum of six credits of face-to-face instruction is required per semester; any credits above that may be taken online.

Computer Requirements 

In order to fully participate in online courses, each student is expected to have access to a desktop or laptop computer. A mobile app is available for Apple and Android devices that allows you to complete some online course tasks, but a desktop or laptop computer is required for successful completion of all online course tasks.
