Catalog Addendum

As of February 17, 2021, the below updates are in effect and reflected on the Licensure and Professional Disclosures page:

  • The B.S. Equine Business Management/Riding program prepares students to take the Massachusetts Riding Instructor’s License Exam.
  • Clarification regarding the M.A.T. programs reciprocity agreements that enable a certified teacher to transfer licensure between states.
  • The M.S. Addiction Counseling and M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling programs now meet the educational components of licensure or certification requirements for several additional states.

On March 10th, 2021, the Academic Calendars page was modified to update the Physician Assistant Studies calendar. 

As of March 22nd, 2021, the Educational Leadership Ed.D. degree program will not be offered in the College of Online Education.

On March 30th, 2021, the Military and Veterans page was modified to include the following statement: "GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill." 

On April 23rd, 2021, the Transfer Credit and International Transfer Credit pages were modified to clarify transfer credit policy relating to the grade of "P". 

On May 20th, 2021, the Vaccination Policy page was modified to include the requirement for the COVID-19 vaccine.

On May 26th, 2021, the Engineering Management - M.S. program page was modified to add the Foundation course DATA5025 Tools for Data Analytics and the Elective course DATA5515 Advanced Topics in Predictive Analytics, and remove the Elective course DATA5500 Time Series Analysis.

On June 9, 2021, the Business Studies - B.S.Baking & Pastry Arts and Food Service Management - B.S., and Culinary Arts and Food Service Management - B.S. program pages were modified to include a science course as part of the General Education Requirements.

On July 6th, the Foundational Operations & Supply Chain Management - Micro-Certificate program page was modified to reflect an updated program description.

On August 11th, 2021, the University Withdrawal Credit Policy page was modified to update the withdrawal credit policy.

On August 12, 2021, the undergraduate tab of the How To Apply page was modified to note additional student eligibility requirements to receive financial aid.

On September 13, 2021, many pages referencing the Center for Academic Support as well as the Student Academic & Financial Services and Experiential Education & Career Services departments were modified to note that those departments have merged on the Charlotte Campus. Those departments remain separate on the Providence Campus.

On November 2, 2021, the Finance - M.S. program page was modified to note that: Effective August 31, 2022, the CFP (Certification Professional Education Program) track for the M.S. Finance program will be discontinued. Students seeking to apply coursework towards the educational requirement of the CFP Certification Exam must complete designated CFP coursework prior to this date. Please contact the Admissions department for course scheduling requirements.

On January 19, 2022, the Technical Standards page was modified to include the Exercise & Sports Science Program Technical Standards document as well as a link to the Policy and Procedures Regarding Allergens. 

On January 31, 2022, the Online catalog was modified to include the International, High School Verification, and Home-Schooled Students sections.

On February 1, 2022, the Accreditations, Approvals, and Memberships page was modified to update the section on Programmatic Accreditation.
