JWU 2019–20 Catalog

The academic policies stated in this Catalog are in effect as of the Fall 2019 Term/Semester. Please refer to the 2018-2019 Student Handbook for policies in effect prior to Fall 2019. 

This catalog is an official publication of Johnson & Wales University. As such, it and the other publications and policies provided on JWU's website are subject to revision at any time. The university reserves the right to add, withdraw or revise any course, program of study, provision or requirement described within the catalog as may be deemed necessary. Occasionally, program requirements will vary by the publication date of the catalog. Requirements stated in the edition published closest to the September enrollment date will take precedence. 

Students should read and fully understand the rules, requirements and policies described in this catalog. Additionally, all enrolled students are expected to be familiar with the contents of their campus student handbook. The student handbook contains important information regarding academic performance and personal conduct of students as well as university grievance procedures. It also outlines the conditions under which students may be placed on probation or suspension from the university. Each campus student handbook is available online. Copies of each handbook and catalog are also available at Student Academic & Financial Services.
